In October, Hawke's Bay Founders met at a private residence for a very “ relaxed and social” outing.

63 Founders members attended the Members Branch meeting in August at the Ellwood Function Centre, Hastings.
Taranaki Branch hosted the 79th Annual General Meeting of the NZ Founders Society in June 2018.
On Friday 27th July the Taranaki branch of NZ Founders hosted a special presentation by Andrew Moffat at Puke Ariki called "Rebels, Rats and Ructions: New Plymouth in the 1840's".
