Sun shines on mystery tour

After heading out in overcast skies and drizzle, Hawke’s Bay Founders members were delighted to find increasing sunshine on their recent bus mystery tour into the Hawke’s Bay countryside.

Laraine Sole, recipient of the 2016 NZ Founders Research Grant, is about to launch her book.

Hillary Bedggood and Kaye Forster-Hill at the Hamilton Cenotaph before laying a wreath on behalf of the Waikato Founders at the Anzac Service.

Auckland Branch had the fulfilment of a two year dream occur on the 27^thJanuary with the unveiling of a commemorative board on Queen’s Wharf, Auckland, to mark the 175^thanniversary of the first organised arrival of settlers aboard the vessels “Jane Gifford” and “Duchess of Argyle”, to Auckland, on 9^thOctober 1842. 

Hawke's Bay branch of NZ Founders have held their AGM in March 2018.
