	3 April 2019 Visit to historic cottage in Upper Hutt In March 2019, the Wellington Branch of NZ Founders visited Isabel's historic cottage in Upper Hutt. 27 November 2018 Wellington Founders Garden lunch Members of the branch gathered in Hataitai, where the family of one of our members continues to live since 1891. We wandered through the interesting garden before listening to a talk on family history and enjoyed the lunch and social occasion together. 27 July 2018 Recent Events in Wellington Branch Wellington Branch recently held its AGM and had visits to Parliament and the Wellington City Archives. 19 July 2017 Wellington Branch meeting - Wellington City Archives Wellington Founders held an interesting lunch meeting on July 3^rd with our speaker Adrian Humphris from Wellington City Archives. 30 May 2017 Wellington Branch recent meetings Wellington Branch held a luncheon meeting on the 6^th of March 2017. The speaker was Margaret Hurst an experienced librarian from the Family History section of the National Library. She gave us an interesting and informative talk about her work and enlightened our members about the resources available to researchers. Wellington Branch held their 2017 Annual General Meeting on the 1^st of May. Ruth Gotlieb spoke enthusiastically to us about the various committees she had worked on while a Wellington Council member.
