Sunday October 4th, five members of New Zealand Founders Society Hawke’s Bay Branch spent 6 hours at the Ongaonga Victorian Fair in Central Hawke’s Bay, promoting New Zealand Founders Society.
The five members, all dressed in period costumes, included New Zealand Founders Society National President and Hawke’s Bay Branch President Paddy Bayley, her husband Richard, Hawke’s Bay Branch Secretary, New Zealand Founders Society Bulletin Editor Stephanie Drew, her husband Peter, and Branch member Lyn Sturm.
Bunting depicting the ancestors ships of all the current branch members hung nicely under the gazebo, making for a very colourful display.
Members of the public were very interested in our Society and keen to take our new brochures.
