There were so many beautiful properties in Parnell to catch the eye in every street where we walked and, “Lo and behold,” we came upon the Anglican Holy Trinity Cathedral and its predecessor on the site, St Mary’s Church, surrounded by their accompanying ecclesiastical buildings of the Auckland Diocese.
