Around 160 descendants and partners of those who arrived at New Plymouth on the Amelia Thompson, gathered at Te Henui Church Hall, New Plymouth on Saturday 22nd October to enjoy a weekend of friendship and fellowship.

19 members attended yesterday's meeting (7/10/16) to hear guest speaker Len Jury, promote Graeme KENYON's soon to be released book on the "Battle of Waireka" at Omata, just West of New Plymouth. Len gave an extensive overview of the JURY family history which preceded the Battle.
